A latest market survey has revealed that Chinese smartphone giant, Huawei has reportedly sold more units than California-based tech giant Apple. However, none of them was unable to break Samsung’s sales figures.
The latest market numbers have revealed Huawei as the second-most selling smartphone brand across the globe, behind Seoul’s Samsung. Until May of this year, Apple was ahead of Huawei for global sales in 2017, but Huawei, that is a specialist in making cheaper Android devices, has gone ahead of the iPhone-making firm.
According to different statistics released by researching group Counterpoint, the Chinese firm defeated Apple on global sales of smartphone in June and July this 2017. This shows the popularity of Huawei, across the world, considering that Android users have a far more variety to choose from, than iOS users.
Another spokesperson from the research group revealed that the Chinese company’s strong sales throughout the globe might see them retain the 2nd-spot in the highest global smartphone sales for a third consecutive month. However, with the release of the iPhone 8, Apple might have another boost, but it is criminal to underrate Huawei’s sales and growth.
However, a closer statistical view at the most-selling smartphone globally table shows that Apple’s sales dropped from 19% to 9% between December 2016 to June 2017. On the other hand, Apple’s rival, Samsung held more than 20% of global smartphone sales in July this year. Moreover, their figure grew to 25% in August.
With Huawei’s huge global sales in the market, we have decided to list few of their latest best-selling phones in the world right now.
The Huawei Honor 9 is one of the latest version of the Chinese company, that features a 5.15-inch display, while also carrying a 64GB storage. A built-in fingerprint sensor is also used in the phone, while high-quality photographs can also be taken from the phone that possesses a 20Mp monochrome lens and a 12Mp color lens.
The Huawei P10 Lite is among other successful Huawei phones, which geatures a 5.2-inch screen with a slimline design and metal frame. Coming with a fingerprint sensor, it also has NFC (near-field communication), and can be used to make payments through Android Pay.
And if one requires a larger phone for multi-tasking, Huawei also has a P10 Plus, which has a large 5.5-inch fingerprint screen, with a total of 128GB in total. It also operates on the Android Nougat, and is helped by a speedy processor and has a dual-lens camera.
With the rise of Huawei for the middle-class market, it is expected that their sales will continue to increase, but the release of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X will surely boost Apple’s sales around the globe.
