A latest market survey has revealed that Chinese smartphone giant, Huawei has reportedly sold more units than California-based tech giant Apple. However, none of them was unable to break Samsung’s sales figures.

The latest market numbers have revealed Huawei as the second-most selling smartphone brand across the globe, behind Seoul’s Samsung. Until May of this year, Apple was ahead of Huawei for global sales in 2017, but Huawei, that is a specialist in making cheaper Android devices, has gone ahead of the iPhone-making firm.

According to different statistics released by researching group Counterpoint, the Chinese firm defeated Apple on global sales of smartphone in June and July this 2017. This shows the popularity of Huawei, across the world, considering that Android users have a far more variety to choose from, than iOS users.

Another spokesperson from the research group revealed that the Chinese company’s strong sales throughout the globe might see them retain the 2nd-spot in the highest global smartphone sales for a third consecutive month. However, with the release of the iPhone 8, Apple might have another boost, but it is criminal to underrate Huawei’s sales and growth.

However, a closer statistical view at the most-selling smartphone globally table shows that Apple’s sales dropped from 19% to 9% between December 2016 to June 2017. On the other hand, Apple’s rival, Samsung held more than 20% of global smartphone sales in July this year. Moreover, their figure grew to 25% in August.
